China : Police Dispatched to Hinder House Church Christians from Traveling-
With the Lausanne Congress about to begin in South Africa on October 16th, many house church members and pastors are intending to arrive at Beijing Intl Airport  to depart for the conference. Accordinging to inside sources, approximately 100 people will be planning to make the trip. Approximately 1,000 police officers arrived at the airport in order to restrain believers from boarding the planes and will have a 10-to-1 advantage over the house church Christians.
Pray that these Christians will be allowed to board these planes and safely fly to this conference, which could significantly impact the spread of the Gospel throughout China and the world.
Pray that the government of China, who repeatedly target Christians with force, imprisonment, and other means of persecution, will be divinely moved to release some of this pressure and allow Christians to worship Jesus  freely.
Pray that the Lausanne Congress will have tremendously worldwide impact on the spread of the Gospel throughout the world and will stir up passion for the spread of God's name.

Hindu "holy man" Sathya Sai Baba died in April 2011. He was considered a "god" by his followers, who numbered in the millions. They believe he healed himself and was reborn in 1993. They are now praying for his resurrection. Ask the Lord to speak to the hearts of all those in India who have put their hope in men and false gods. Pray for their blind eyes to be opened to the truth of Jesus Christ. Pray for the Gospel to be proclaimed throughout India. Petition the Lord to tear down the strongholds of Hinduism and set free those held captive by this religion. Plead with the Lord for a great harvest of souls in this nation. (Isaiah 42:6,7)

TUNISIA, NORTH AFRICA

Nearly 500 people were arrested during another large street protest in Tunisia on Sunday, May 1, 2011. Soldiers and tanks reportedly entered Deraa. Human rights groups claim more than 550 people have been killed during this time of unrest. Pray for the Lord's plans and purposes for this nation to be fulfilled. Pray for the government to stop attacking its own people. Ask the Lord to restore order and bring spiritual transformation to Tunisia. Plead for the souls of this nation. Pray for Christians to be protected from the violence and be bold in sharing the Gospel. Invite God's Kingdom to come, His will be done in Tunisia. (Psalm 37:37)
