SAUDI ARABIA, ARABIAN PENINSULA

Members of the Iraqi National Coalition have accused Saudi Arabia of financing and supporting terrorists operating in their nation. "Some religious authorities in Saudi Arabia," the coalition added, "issued a fatwa that permits killing the Shia people, who make up the majority of the Iraqi population." The statement also charged Saudi Arabia with trying to overthrow the Iraqi government.

Pray for Saudi Arabia to stop supporting and funding terrorists.

Ask the Lord to expose those in the government who are engaged in these activities.

Pray for this Islamic stronghold to be penetrated with the Light of the Gospel of Christ.

Plead for the salvation of the Muslims in Saudi Arabia.

Invite the Kingdom of God to come in great power, with signs, wonders, dreams and visions.

Hindu "holy man" Sathya Sai Baba died in April 2011. He was considered a "god" by his followers, who numbered in the millions. They believe he healed himself and was reborn in 1993. They are now praying for his resurrection. Ask the Lord to speak to the hearts of all those in India who have put their hope in men and false gods. Pray for their blind eyes to be opened to the truth of Jesus Christ. Pray for the Gospel to be proclaimed throughout India. Petition the Lord to tear down the strongholds of Hinduism and set free those held captive by this religion. Plead with the Lord for a great harvest of souls in this nation. (Isaiah 42:6,7)

TUNISIA, NORTH AFRICA

Nearly 500 people were arrested during another large street protest in Tunisia on Sunday, May 1, 2011. Soldiers and tanks reportedly entered Deraa. Human rights groups claim more than 550 people have been killed during this time of unrest. Pray for the Lord's plans and purposes for this nation to be fulfilled. Pray for the government to stop attacking its own people. Ask the Lord to restore order and bring spiritual transformation to Tunisia. Plead for the souls of this nation. Pray for Christians to be protected from the violence and be bold in sharing the Gospel. Invite God's Kingdom to come, His will be done in Tunisia. (Psalm 37:37)
