VIETNAM, SOUTHEAST ASIA

A new United Nations report shows that the Vietnamese government consistently "uses excessive force on religious groups." It also states there are many ongoing, "significant problems," including harassment and violence against Christians.

Pray for the Lord to strengthen Christian Believers in Vietnam, enabling them to remain faithful in the midst of persecution.

Pray for them to have opportunities to share the love of Christ with their words and actions.

Ask the Lord to move powerfully among the leaders of the Vietnamese government, drawing them into relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

Pray for the transformation of this Communist nation as the Kingdom of God comes.

The nation of Kazakhstan is part of the terrorism watch list because of its possible link to terrorist activities. The government has objected to being on this list, citing a history free of terrorism. But experts are concerned that might be changing. Pray for the government of Kazakhstan to do everything they can to prevent terrorism and keep their nation safe from terrorist group activity. Pray for Muslims in Kazakhstan to have the opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel. Pray for Christians to continue to faithfully pray for their nation and share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Petition the Lord for a great harvest of souls in Kazakhstan. (Psalm 71:3)

INDIA, SOUTH ASIA

Hindu "holy man" Sathya Sai Baba died in April 2011. He was considered a "god" by his followers, who numbered in the millions. They believe he healed himself and was reborn in 1993. They are now praying for his resurrection. Ask the Lord to speak to the hearts of all those in India who have put their hope in men and false gods. Pray for their blind eyes to be opened to the truth of Jesus Christ. Pray for the Gospel to be proclaimed throughout India. Petition the Lord to tear down the strongholds of Hinduism and set free those held captive by this religion. Plead with the Lord for a great harvest of souls in this nation. (Isaiah 42:6,7)
