YEMEN, ARABIAN PENINSULA

If terrorism is not defeated in Yemen, observers say, the stability of the entire Persian Gulf is at risk. "The Arab countries now must move before it is too late."

Pray for leaders in the Arabian Peninsula to take this threat seriously and move decisively to counteract terrorism in Yemen.

Ask the Lord to root out and bring defeat to al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula and other extremist groups operating in this region.

Pray for the people of Yemen to hear the Good News that Jesus Christ died for their sins.

Ask the Lord for a great harvest of souls in Yemen as the Kingdom of God comes in power.

The government has objected to being on this list, citing a history free of terrorism. But experts are concerned that might be changing. Pray for the government of Kazakhstan to do everything they can to prevent terrorism and keep their nation safe from terrorist group activity. Pray for Muslims in Kazakhstan to have the opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel. Pray for Christians to continue to faithfully pray for their nation and share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Hindu "holy man" Sathya Sai Baba died in April 2011. He was considered a "god" by his followers, who numbered in the millions. They believe he healed himself and was reborn in 1993. They are now praying for his resurrection. Ask the Lord to speak to the hearts of all those in India who have put their hope in men and false gods. Pray for their blind eyes to be opened to the truth of Jesus Christ. Pray for the Gospel to be proclaimed throughout India. Petition the Lord to tear down the strongholds of Hinduism and set free those held captive by this religion. Plead with the Lord for a great harvest of souls in this nation. (Isaiah 42:6,7)
