GUINEA-BISSAU, WEST AFRICA

Guinea-Bissau is ranked as the fifth poorest nation in the world with a per capital annual average income of $600. In this impoverished environment, the drug trade is growing rapidly.

Pray for the people of Guinea-Bissau to cry out to the Lord for relief.

Pray for the Lord to respond to their great need and raise up leaders who will guide the nation out of poverty.

Ask the Lord to expose drug rings, and any corruption or terrorism that they
have brought to Guinea-Bissau.

Pray for the people to have the opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel.

Petition the Lord for a great harvest of souls in Guinea-Bissau. (Psalm 140:4)

The government has objected to being on this list, citing a history free of terrorism. But experts are concerned that might be changing. Pray for the government of Kazakhstan to do everything they can to prevent terrorism and keep their nation safe from terrorist group activity. Pray for Muslims in Kazakhstan to have the opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel. Pray for Christians to continue to faithfully pray for their nation and share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Petition the Lord for a great harvest of souls in Kazakhstan. (Psalm 71:3)

INDIA, SOUTH ASIA

Hindu "holy man" Sathya Sai Baba died in April 2011. He was considered a "god" by his followers, who numbered in the millions. They believe he healed himself and was reborn in 1993. They are now praying for his resurrection. Ask the Lord to speak to the hearts of all those in India who have put their hope in men and false gods. Pray for their blind eyes to be opened to the truth of Jesus Christ. Pray for the Gospel to be proclaimed throughout India. Petition the Lord to tear down the strongholds of Hinduism and set free those held captive by this religion. Plead with the Lord for a great harvest of souls in this nation. (Isaiah 42:6,7)
