JORDAN, MIDDLE EAST

According to the Associated Press, "Members of Jordan's powerful Islamist
opposition [the Muslim Brotherhood] have taken an oath to continue peaceful
protests until their demands for political reform in the kingdom are met." King
Abdullah II has promised that reforms are coming soon.

Pray for the Lord's plan and purposes for this nation to be accomplished.

Pray for the salvation of King Abdullah II.

Ask the Lord to move during this time of unrest.

Ask the Lord to disrupt their plans and keep them from seizing control of
Jordan.

Pray for the Holy Spirit to be poured out on this nation and for Muslims to have
the opportunity to hear the Gospel.

Petition the Lord to give Christians a passion to share the Good News.

Pray for the Kingdom of God to come to Jordan, with signs and wonders following.

The government has objected to being on this list, citing a history free of terrorism. But experts are concerned that might be changing. Pray for the government of Kazakhstan to do everything they can to prevent terrorism and keep their nation safe from terrorist group activity. Pray for Muslims in Kazakhstan to have the opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel. Pray for Christians to continue to faithfully pray for their nation and share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Petition the Lord for a great harvest of souls in Kazakhstan. (Psalm 71:3)

INDIA, SOUTH ASIA

Hindu "holy man" Sathya Sai Baba died in April 2011. He was considered a "god" by his followers, who numbered in the millions. They believe he healed himself and was reborn in 1993. They are now praying for his resurrection. Ask the Lord to speak to the hearts of all those in India who have put their hope in men and false gods. Pray for their blind eyes to be opened to the truth of Jesus Christ. Pray for the Gospel to be proclaimed throughout India. Petition the Lord to tear down the strongholds of Hinduism and set free those held captive by this religion. Plead with the Lord for a great harvest of souls in this nation. (Isaiah 42:6,7)
