MYANMAR (BURMA), SOUTHEAST ASIA
In July 2011, Aung San Suu Kyi, a pro-democracy leader in Myanmar, "called on the army and ethnic insurgents to end a decades-long civil conflict." Although the military government adopted a civilian identity in March 2011, fighting between these two groups has been on the rise.
Pray for a true and lasting ceasefire.
Ask the Lord to move in the hearts of leaders from both sides of this dispute.
Pray for their salvation.
Ask the Lord to strengthen Christians in Myanmar and give them opportunities to share the Gospel.
Pray for God's Kingdom to come to this nation as it is in heaven. (Matthew 6:10)
