NORTH KOREA, EAST ASIA

A new report confirms that Kim Jong Un (son of leader Kim Jong Il) was involved
in two North Korean attacks against South Korea last year. Fifty people were
killed in the attacks and they "worsened already tense relations between the two
Koreas.…"

Pray for the salvation of Kim Jong Il and Kim Jong Un.

Ask the Lord to set the people of North Korea free from the oppression of
communism.

Pray for the Lord to strengthen and encourage Christians in this nation.

Petition Him to empower them to love those who persecute them and continue to
preach and demonstrate the love of God.

Pray for the Light of Christ to break through the spiritual darkness in North
Korea.

Pray for God's Kingdom to come to this nation with great power and glory.

The nation of Kazakhstan is part of the terrorism watch list because of its possible link to terrorist activities. The government has objected to being on this list, citing a history free of terrorism. But experts are concerned that might be changing. Pray for the government of Kazakhstan to do everything they can to prevent terrorism and keep their nation safe from terrorist group activity. Pray for Muslims in Kazakhstan to have the opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel. Pray for Christians to continue to faithfully pray for their nation and share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Petition the Lord for a great harvest of souls in Kazakhstan. (Psalm 71:3)

Hindu "holy man" Sathya Sai Baba died in April 2011. He was considered a "god" by his followers, who numbered in the millions. They believe he healed himself and was reborn in 1993. They are now praying for his resurrection. Ask the Lord to speak to the hearts of all those in India who have put their hope in men and false gods. Pray for their blind eyes to be opened to the truth of Jesus Christ. Pray for the Gospel to be proclaimed throughout India. Petition the Lord to tear down the strongholds of Hinduism and set free those held captive by this religion. Plead with the Lord for a great harvest of souls in this nation. (Isaiah 42:6,7)
