PAKISTAN, SOUTH ASIA
Ethnic violence (which is believed to be politically motivated) resulted in 47
deaths in just three days in Karachi, Pakistan in August 2011. Approximately 240
were killed in July. The government has deployed hundreds of extra security
forces in an effort to "halt gunfights raging across the city."
Pray for an immediate end to this violence.
Pray for Muslims in Karachi and all of Pakistan to realize their need for a
Savior.
Petition the Lord to use Christians in this nation to proclaim and demonstrate
the Gospel.
Pray for their protection as they face great opposition and persecution.
Ask the Lord for a great harvest of souls in Pakistan.
Pray for multitudes to put their faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.
(Psalm 11:5)
