VIETNAM, SOUTHEAST ASIA

According to human rights groups, baby smuggling has become rampant in Vietnam and is a lucrative crime. "Kidnappers allegedly have sneaked into Vietnamese hospitals to snatch newborns from maternity wards."

Pray for an immediate end to this evil activity.

Pray for the Lord to protect babies from those who desire to kidnap them.

Ask Him to give the government of Vietnam wisdom and strategies for combating this crime.

Pray for Christians in this nation to be bold in sharing their faith.

Ask the Lord to protect them and give them opportunities to display His love.

Pray for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit in Vietnam.

Invite God's Kingdom to come in power to this nation. (Psalm 72:14)

The nation of Kazakhstan is part of the terrorism watch list because of its possible link to terrorist activities. The government has objected to being on this list, citing a history free of terrorism. But experts are concerned that might be changing. Pray for the government of Kazakhstan to do everything they can to prevent terrorism and keep their nation safe from terrorist group activity. Pray for Muslims in Kazakhstan to have the opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel. Pray for Christians to continue to faithfully pray for their nation and share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Petition the Lord for a great harvest of souls in Kazakhstan. (Psalm 71:3)

INDIA, SOUTH ASIA

Hindu "holy man" Sathya Sai Baba died in April 2011. He was considered a "god" by his followers, who numbered in the millions. They believe he healed himself and was reborn in 1993. They are now praying for his resurrection. Ask the Lord to speak to the hearts of all those in India who have put their hope in men and false gods. Pray for their blind eyes to be opened to the truth of Jesus Christ. Pray for the Gospel to be proclaimed throughout India. Petition the Lord to tear down the strongholds of Hinduism and set free those held captive by this religion. Plead with the Lord for a great harvest of souls in this nation. (Isaiah 42:6,7)
