BANGLADESH, SOUTH ASIA

The government of Bangladesh is attempting to enact laws that will cut down on human trafficking. The nation is currently a "major source and transit country" for the trafficking of men, women, and children into forced labor and sexual exploitation.

Pray for an immediate end to this destructive and illegal practice.

Ask the Lord to comfort and minister healing to the victims of this crime.

Pray for a great move of the Holy Spirit in Bangladesh.

Plead with the Lord for the souls of Muslims and ask Him to draw them into relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. (II Corinthians 1:3,4)

The government has objected to being on this list, citing a history free of terrorism. But experts are concerned that might be changing. Pray for the government of Kazakhstan to do everything they can to prevent terrorism and keep their nation safe from terrorist group activity. Pray for Muslims in Kazakhstan to have the opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel. Pray for Christians to continue to faithfully pray for their nation and share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Petition the Lord for a great harvest of souls in Kazakhstan. (Psalm 71:3)

Hindu "holy man" Sathya Sai Baba died in April 2011. He was considered a "god" by his followers, who numbered in the millions. They believe he healed himself and was reborn in 1993. They are now praying for his resurrection. Ask the Lord to speak to the hearts of all those in India who have put their hope in men and false gods. Pray for their blind eyes to be opened to the truth of Jesus Christ. Pray for the Gospel to be proclaimed throughout India. Petition the Lord to tear down the strongholds of Hinduism and set free those held captive by this religion. Plead with the Lord for a great harvest of souls in this nation. (Isaiah 42:6,7)
