MALDIVES, SOUTH ASIA

Lashkar e Taiba (LeT), one of the largest and most active terrorist groups in South Asia, is now believed to be expanding. The organization reportedly has "transnational ambitions" and is seeking to expand into Maldives.

Pray for this demonically-inspired organization to be exposed and defeated.

Pray for nations in South Asia to work together to fight against LeT.

Pray for the salvation of key leaders in this terrorist group.

Ask the Lord to pour His Holy Spirit out on the Maldives, setting people from the Bondage and leading them into relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord.

Pray for the Lord to build His Church in this nation. (Matthew 16:18)

The nation of Kazakhstan is part of the terrorism watch list because of its possible link to terrorist activities. The government has objected to being on this list, citing a history free of terrorism. But experts are concerned that might be changing. Pray for the government of Kazakhstan to do everything they can to prevent terrorism and keep their nation safe from terrorist group activity. Pray for Muslims in Kazakhstan to have the opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel. Pray for Christians to continue to faithfully pray for their nation and share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Petition the Lord for a great harvest of souls in Kazakhstan. (Psalm 71:3)

INDIA, SOUTH ASIA

Hindu "holy man" Sathya Sai Baba died in April 2011. He was considered a "god" by his followers, who numbered in the millions. They believe he healed himself and was reborn in 1993. They are now praying for his resurrection. Ask the Lord to speak to the hearts of all those in India who have put their hope in men and false gods. Pray for their blind eyes to be opened to the truth of Jesus Christ. Pray for the Gospel to be proclaimed throughout India. Petition the Lord to tear down the strongholds of Hinduism and set free those held captive by this religion. Plead with the Lord for a great harvest of souls in this nation. (Isaiah 42:6,7)
