NIGERIA, WEST AFRICA

According to the International Trade Union Confederation, approximately 15 million children in Nigeria are forced to work. Many of them have dangerous jobs and live in fear of violence.

Pray for children to be set free from this modern-day slavery.

Petition the Lord to bring an end to the practice of forcing children to work.

Pray for Christians in Nigeria to be bold in sharing the Gospel and in taking up the cause for children.

Plead with the Lord for Muslims in this nation to hear and respond to the Good News of Jesus Christ.

Pray for many to put their faith in Christ as Savior and Lord. (Colossians 1:13)

The nation of Kazakhstan is part of the terrorism watch list because of its possible link to terrorist activities. The government has objected to being on this list, citing a history free of terrorism. But experts are concerned that might be changing. Pray for the government of Kazakhstan to do everything they can to prevent terrorism and keep their nation safe from terrorist group activity. Pray for Muslims in Kazakhstan to have the opportunity to hear and respond to the Gospel. Pray for Christians to continue to faithfully pray for their nation and share the Good News of Jesus Christ. Petition the Lord for a great harvest of souls in Kazakhstan. (Psalm 71:3)

INDIA, SOUTH ASIA

Hindu "holy man" Sathya Sai Baba died in April 2011. He was considered a "god" by his followers, who numbered in the millions. They believe he healed himself and was reborn in 1993. They are now praying for his resurrection. Ask the Lord to speak to the hearts of all those in India who have put their hope in men and false gods. Pray for their blind eyes to be opened to the truth of Jesus Christ. Pray for the Gospel to be proclaimed throughout India. Petition the Lord to tear down the strongholds of Hinduism and set free those held captive by this religion. Plead with the Lord for a great harvest of souls in this nation. (Isaiah 42:6,7)
