According to Joshua Project, the majority of the people in Burkina Faso practice Sunni Islam. Nearly a third are followers of ethnic religions.

In 1960 there were an estimated 10,000 Christians in Burkina Faso. By 2010 the number had risen to 1.44 million!

Pray the Burkinabes to cry out to the Lord for relief from their poverty.
