The island nation of Japan was devastated by a deadly earthquake and tsunami in March 2011. Tens of thousands died and the nation is still struggling to recover.

Despite being a modern, industrialized nation, Japan has a very small Christian population. It I considered one of the least-reached nations in the world. Traditionally, the Japanese have been resistant to the Gospel, but that is beginning to change.

PRAISE:

In “Operation World,” Jason Mandryk reports, “Many believe Japanese society is posed for an unprecedented awakening.”

PRAYER:

the aftermath of the natural disasters to be a time of awakening for the Japanese people. ( II Corinthians 4:4)

the Holy Spirit to move powerfully throughout this nation, softening hearts and opening minds to the Gospel. (I Peter 2:9)

multitudes of Japanese to put their faith in Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. (Romans 5:1,2)
